Admin Panel Overview
Getting in
- Log in with phone 9999999999 (the seeded admin). The OTP appears on screen like any demo login.
- Open the Account menu in the header and click "Admin Panel", or go directly to
/admin. Non-admin users are turned away with an "Admin access required" notice.
The ten sidebar sections

| 📊 Dashboard | /admin | Your daily starting point: stat cards (orders and revenue today, orders in progress, totals, customers, products, low stock), the 7-day revenue chart, and recent orders with inline status controls. |
| 📦 Orders & Delivery | /admin/orders | The operational heart — filter orders by status and advance each one through the delivery lifecycle. Use it constantly while orders are flowing. |
| ✅ Approvals | /admin/approvals | Review queue for every new or edited seller product. Approve to publish, or reject with a reason. Check whenever the alert strip flags pending items. |
| 📈 Sales Reports | /admin/reports | Daily sales, breakdowns by category and by seller, and top products. Use for weekly reviews and to spot what's moving. |
| 🛍️ Products | /admin/products | Full catalog manager: search, edit, hide/show, manage variants, and create platform-owned products (which skip approval). |
| 🗂️ Categories | /admin/categories | Add or delete categories and their subcategories. The storefront navigation updates immediately. |
| 🏪 Sellers | /admin/sellers | Every registered store with its status. Approve new applications; suspend misbehaving stores. |
| 🖼️ Banners | /admin/banners | Create, toggle and delete the home-page hero and promo banners. Use for campaigns and seasonal pushes. |
| 👥 Users | /admin/users | All accounts with phone, name, role, join date, order count and spend. Promote a colleague to admin (or demote back to customer) here. |
| ⚙️ Settings | /admin/settings | Store-wide configuration: fees, free-delivery threshold, ETA text, store name and address. Changes apply immediately. |
A "← Back to store" link at the bottom of the sidebar returns you to the storefront.
The alert strip
When something needs attention, an alert strip appears at the top of the Dashboard with direct links: "⚠️ N product(s) awaiting approval" (→ Approvals) and "⚠️ N seller application(s) pending" (→ Sellers). If the strip is absent, nothing is waiting on you. Treat it as your inbox — clearing it keeps sellers unblocked and new products flowing into the storefront.
